Purchasing an item
How to order?
Ordering is made easy by taking these few simple steps:
* Browse through the items we've listed. Click on the image to look at the enlarged version.
* Write down the item codes for the items you wish to own and click on our order form.
* Fill up our order form and don't forget to click on the 'Submit' button.
Why do I need to fill up the order form?
So we can reserve your item and send you an invoice which will let you know what to do next. Please make sure the following steps are completed:
* fill in your full name, contact no. and proper mailing address (to ensure Mr Postman is able to locate you. Mr Postman will not recognize you by your nickname)
* fill in the item codes of the items you wish to order
* indicate your payment option
* write down any comments, questions or requests in the message box
I've filled up the order form, now what?
Once you've filled up the form and clicked on the Submit button, you should immediately receive a copy of the form via email. Simultaneously, we will get one as well. Please check your email inbox to see if you've received your copy. If there is nothing in your inbox, make sure you check in your spam folder as well. The form is successfully sent only if you receive a copy via email.
Once you know the form has been successfully sent, wait for our invoice or reply. If the item you ordered is no longer available, you will not receive an invoice from us.
If you're not sure if we received your order, leave a short note in the chatbox on our blogshop ie: order sent, pls check. Please leave your email as you do this so we can contact you directly.
Ok I got your invoice..
In the invoice, we will list the items you have ordered. Kindly check the items to ensure they are the ones you ordered.
We will also state the total amount of your order, postage and packaging (P&P) charges, delivery method, total amount to be paid, our bank account details and confirmation of the mailing information you provided in the order form.
Once you confirm everything in the invoice is accurate, please make payment within 3 business days. If in the event you can't arrange payment within the given time-frame, kindly let us know.
I've made payment!
Thank you for your prompt payment :) Now, make sure you email us the payment reference no. and we will mail your item(s) out within 3 business days. Tracking no. for your parcel will be provided once we've mailed your item(s).

What are my payment options?
You can make payment via the following methods:
* bank transfer or cash deposit to our Maybank a/c. - for Malaysian shoppers
* bank transfer or cash deposit to our CIMB a/c. - for Malaysian shoppers
* 3rd party account transfer via maybank2u.com.my - for Malaysian shoppers
* Online transfer via CIMBclicks.com.my
* Paypal to vintagebiribiri@gmail.com & transfer or cash deposit to our Maybank Sg a/c - for Singaporean shoppers
* Paypal only - for International shoppers
For shoppers in Klang Valley, Cash On Delivery is available for multiple purchases (3 items and above) in selected locations.
I'd like to opt for COD. What are the locations available?
If you order 3 items or more in your order, COD can be arranged at the following locations:
* Sri Petaling, Bukit Jalil & Old Klang Road vicinity
* Gardens Midvalley
* Amcorp Mall / A&W in PJ State
* Bangsar
*Subject to convenience of both seller and buyer
Delivery information
How much do I need to pay for P&P?
Postage & packaging will be charged according to delivery method and destination:
* For delivery via PosLaju: West Malaysia - RM7.00, East Malaysia - RM9.00
* For delivery via Reg.Pos: West Malaysia - RM3.00, East Malaysia - RM4.00
* For delivery to Singapore: SGD$10.00
* For delivery worldwide: Standard USD$7.50
Will I be able to track my item?
Yes, each parcel is delivered with a tracking no. which you can trace at www.pos.com.my
Can you deliver my item via Pos Ekspress?
No, we're sorry. According to Pos Malaysia, Pos Ekspress is only for delivery of documents. And since Pos Ekspress delivery doesn't require the recipient's signature, there is no proof of receipt. We know some of you may think this is a cheaper option, but we do not wish to have any disputes in the event the package goes missing.
Do you combine P&P for multiple items?
Yes, in order to save on P&P, you are encouraged to purchase a few items at one go. The initial first item will be charged according to the standard P&P rate we mentioned above. Each subsequent item will be charged an additional RM1.00 to RM2.00 each (depending on weight of item), or SGD$2.00 or USD$2.00 each for buyers outside of Malaysia.
How long do I have to wait for my order to arrive?
We will mail your item(s) within 3 business days of payment received. Delivery time will vary according to recipient's location:
* Within West Malaysia: 2-3 business days via PosLaju, 4-7 business days via Reg.Pos
* Within East Malaysia: 3-5 business days via PosLaju, 5-9 business days via Reg.Pos.
* Singapore & worldwide: 7-14 business days via Registered Pos
Availability of item
All orders are on first come first served basis.
Hi, is this item still available?
Ok we get this question alot, to be fair not everyone is aware how the labelling system works in our blogshop. It's quite simple really: all items NOT labelled Sold or Reserved are still available to be purchased. AVAILABLE! means available for sale.
I like this item, but it's already reserved by someone else. Can I still purchase it?
If an item is labeled reserved for someone, you can still send in your order and we will put you on the waiting list. In the event the other buyer backs out or cancels, we will release the item to you.
I'm willing to outpay the earlier buyer, will you accept my offer?
Sorry, we don't entertain such requests and will simply put you on the waiting list.
I submitted my order form but my item went to another buyer!
Item goes to whomever's order form came in first. If you did not get the item, it simply means you weren't as fast as the other buyer and we will put you on the waiting list.
Reservations & Cancellations
I wish to purchase an item but I can't pay within 3 business days, can I still reserve it first?
Yes, if you have made up your mind and sincerely wish to purchase it, please fill out our order form and submit it. We will reserve your item for you up to a week upon request (and with good reason). If we don't hear from you after a week, your item will be automatically released and you will be blacklisted.
I've placed an order but now I've changed my mind and wish to cancel, what do I do?
Just let us know within 24 hrs and we will be more than happy to cancel your order for you.
I wish to swap the item that I've ordered with something else on the blogshop..
We will swap the item for you provided payment hasn't been made. Just email us and let us know which item you want replaced.
Special message from blogshop owners: To be fair to other serious buyers, please refrain from submitting your order form and then proceed to embark on a month-long internetless vacation in Timbuktu. Time-wasters will be blacklisted. If you are unsure or fickle-minded we encourage you NOT to place any orders with us. Feel free to continue feasting your eyes upon the eye-candies we upload. We are nice people and do not wish to be harsh or strict on our shoppers, so please be nice too!
Sizing guide
How do I know what size I am?
If you are not sure what size you are, please refer to our sizing guide located on the right sidebar on our blogshop. You should have a better idea of what size can fit you best after learning your size. All you need is a measuring tape :)
I normally wear clothes labeled S,M or L and I don't own a measuring tape..
We cannot provide you an accurate estimate without measurements. This is due to the fact that different manufacturers from different countries apply different sizing to the SML method of labeling. However, if you wish to guesstimate you can do so based on the following:
* XXS : UK4 - UK6
* XS : UK6 - UK8
* S : UK8 - UK10
* M : UK10 - UK12
* L : UK12 - UK14
* XL : UK14 - UK16
* XXL: UK16 and above
Can I get the specific measurements for a particular item or a list of items?
We're afraid we are unable to provide specific measurements for our clothing items as there are simply too many in stock. We apologize for not being able to meet this request at this moment.
How do I guestimate how well a clothing item will fit me based on the sizes stated?
Retro dresses were made in a different era and back in the day, the way clothes were cut are a little different and less form fitting than the ones you find now. Most of the time, the waist part will be cut wider. This is probably done so to fit more than one specific size.
The style back then was to cinch the waist with a waist belt. Therefore the sizes we state take into consideration the width of the shoulders, bust and waistline.
Hint: If you are looking for something form-fitting, look for items where the max size fits your body measurements. For instance, if you are a size UK8 and you'd like a dress to be form fitting, then you stand a better chance with one where the size is between UK6 - UK8.
Do you have a particular size for this item other than the ones stated?
No, each piece is unique and one-off. We can't restock them in other sizes or colors for that matter.
I love this dress! But it's not my size?
Have it altered by a trusted and reasonable charging tailor :)
Item Descriptions
Where are your items from?
All items on our blogshop are imported from Japan or Korea. They could be pre-loved vintage, pre-loved thrifted, unworn dead stock from the past etc. Every piece is one-off and unique, hence not re-stockable. If you are looking for items that are brand new, you should not be shopping here.
Can I have a better look at the item? Any pictures of item on a model? Extra pictures please?
All images of the clothing items you see were taken on a standard size UK8 mannequin. Colors may vary according to your monitor's resolution. Due to time constraint and limited resources, we are unable to meet requests for images of clothing items on models or extra images of any particular items other than the ones posted on the blogshop. Click on image to enlarge.
What condition are the items in?
All items are in perfectly wearable conditions. No holes, tears, missing buttons, visible stains unless otherwise stated. We try our best to point out any visible flaw. However please do not expect the items to be in brand new condition. Price of item will be a rough indication of how perfect the condition of the item is in. In short, we won't post anything we won't wear out ourselves.
Can you restock an item?
No, we're afraid each piece is unique and one-off.
Returns & Exchanges
All sold items are not returnable nor exchangable. We do not wish for you to be disappointed with your purchase, so please check your size and make sure the item fits you. before placing your order.
